On June 17th, the National Market監(jiān)督管理總局 announced that the acquisition of the equity of Sichuan Lifehome Home Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Lifehome") by Beijing JD Century Trade Co., Ltd. (referred to as "JD") has been approved by the relevant departments without any conditions. The review was concluded on June 4, 2025.

This collaboration marks another key layout for JD in the home improvement industry. The strong online traffic, logistics system, and digital capabilities of JD complement the terminal design, delivery, and offline service network of Lifehome Home, creating a significant synergy.

Lately, JD has been active in the home improvement industry: on May 31st, the first JD home improvement self-branded store was grandly opened in JD MALL (Beijing South Third Ring Store); on June 14th, the JD self-branded full-home customization JD.DESIGN high-end series was also solemnly opened at Dongjie JD MALL; in addition, the "JD home improvement full-chain self-operated strategy" was also launched at the same time, showing JD's determination and ability to delve into the home improvement industry. Currently, the home improvement market size in our country exceeds 4 trillion yuan, but the standardization level is low, and the pain points of the service chain are prominent.
